HIGH-FREQUENCY WORDS includes 12 photocopiable A5 minibooks for the children to create and colour plus teachers' notes giving guidance on using the books.

Each of the 12 eight-page minibooks introduces between three and six of the high-frequency words listed in the NLS. The words are repeated in a pattern throughout the minibook with picture clues enabling the child to predict any additional words on each page. The accompaning teachers' notes include:

• teaching ideas linked to the NLS objectives
• suggestions for related activities
• flashcards
• photocopiable activity masters
• photocopiable homework pages.
